Get by with a little help...

CD's talk of cooking reminded me to add a new category of links for friends' blogs, over there on the right. It's written by a friend in NYC, who moved from the south to NYC to be a chef. She always posts really great recipes, including awesome-looking comfort foods. In addition, alot of her posts include produce and other things that she buys at farmer's markets in the city (see her post about garlic scapes - who knew about those??), which is something that both CD and I can appreciate. Philly has an amazing urban farm and plenty of grocery stores, such as Wegman's, that stock local produce. And did you know that PA is one of the biggest producers of farm-grown pumpkins in the country?
