a super-long weekend full of sunsets, driving, and beautiful dogs. it also included lots of rain, thrifting, cold cut grinders, hair-braiding, watching jupiter and its moons through a telescope, and swimming in the lake

did it result in a dog for yourselves?
i think so. we LOVED the breeders that we met and are sending them a deposit for one of the puppies born last month. ready to be adopted in 4 weeks. so excited. and PS, the dog show was so much more fun than i expected. fun to just walk around and admire all the cute, cute doggers of all kinds. i'm totally planning on attending the westminster dog show in february now.

I have a great book recommendation for all you MoHo girls. The novel is Commencement and was written by a Smith grad. It follows the life of four women throughout their undergraduate days and into their twenties. Based on the stories you have told me about your days at Mt. Holyoke, I think you guys will be able to relate to their experiences. I loved it and I didn't even go to a seven sister school. I am just a wanna-to-be!
