the best part of the evening was when they played the she&him album on the record player (one of my favorites)

another best part was the braised duck tortellini and a cocktail called "moscow mule"...fresh ginger, lime juice, simple syrup, vodka, and soda water

before dinner, i had a deep tissue massage with hot stones at my favorite place in williamsburg. a storm started outside and i could hear the thunder and raindrops on the roof.

exquisite evening.

except when we were riding the bus home and had to wait while they raised up the polaski bridge for a big boat. that was annoying, but still a little cool.
