In the parking lot of one of my favorite thrift stores...we bought an embroidered tablecloth, 2 matching twin sheet sets for either sheet use or fabric use, "Night" by Elie Wiesel, and a binder full of someone's assorted vintage mitten and glove knitting patterns and notes all for $10. It's the out-of-NYC thrifting experience I always hope for, but rarely get.
