Nope, not working. Smithsonians are all open, but only folks coming to work are Security. They've pretty much kicked us out for the day! Looking forward to watching the festivities from comfort of my warm couch with cup of coffee...
My brother has said, and I quote, "DC is going to be like spring break for the next four days leading up to the inauguration. I might not have voted for the guy, but I'll sure as hell celebrate like I did!!" Isn't he a dear?
I will be watching the ceremony (well more like listening to it) while at work, probably crying joyfully into my coffee...but quietly so that the Republitards in the office don't make fun of me. (Mike named them the Republitards...so cute.)
I have to give mid-terms =( damn those kids!
