i think the embroidery message is depressing. my bday was a little depressing because i had to work 11A-12:30AM in a basement and ended the day by discovering that something had been dyed and not set and had thus turned half the laundry pink so i had to stay even later to try and bleach things out. grrr. but there were some good bits: 1st tomatoes at the farmer's market, new earrings and hair thingies from anthropologie , pete drove me to and from work as a treat, a wonderful nighttime thunderstorm, and a bottle of champagne and strawberries consumed between 1 and 2AM
