Speaking of morning commutes...

Stacey's subway pics were way cooler, but I snapped this with my cell phone, as I waited for the train, today.

Normally, I take a bus to a station that's farther from my house, but closer to work, because it's safer. But my neighbors think I'm being a pussy, so I tried out the York-Dauphin station, this morning. Of course, Mike dropped me off there so I didn't have to walk through the scary neighborhood that's west of our house...

Baby steps, people. Baby steps.

is it really dangerous at 7 or 8 in the morning? hard to imagine. or are people just rude and aggressive? or what?

The train station isn't dangerous...it's the walk to the station that is. People get attacked in broad daylight in Philly because nobody, here, takes the cops very seriously. It takes them forever to respond to a call, and that's if they respond at all.
