before i got to the bottom, i was sure liz had posted these. because spring still seems so far away - like in dc. i was so suprised that this is happening in brooklyn. that means it won't be too long for me. really...i won't have 3 feet of snow in my yard for too much longer? really? when can we put the fucking snowblower away?
I was surprised by all the little blooms too. It was warmer today than it has been in forever so Phaea and I decided to go walk around the botanical garden. I only expected to see maybe some mini-buds on trees and lots of brown. But so much life! We're gonna try to go every week from now on to track mama nature's progress. Remember...winter ends on Sunday and maple season begins!
