I have this idea that I'l bring my daughter(s) to get their nose pierced when they get their 1st period. Came out of thinking about rituals welcoming girls into womanhood (and the lack thereof) and from a discussion w/ Peter about the right age for kids to get their ears pierced. ...I also think Peter promised Theo a piercing when he "becomes a man", not sure what kind. SP's not exactly on board with this new maturation ritual. Yet ;)
