Recycled card ornaments, each made from the holiday cards received in a single year (2005, 2006, and 2007). They're bigger than they look...each the size of a large acorn squash. I think I'll be stringing them into a holiday garland that grows each year.

i've been saving cards forever and haven't figured out anything to do with them. can you give us a little how to, or a link to one?

I used this link

as a starting point, but used a wide-mouthed mason jar lid as my template and kind of eyeballed the folding. It's easy once you start, but way more time-consuming. Perfect for a lazy weekend w/ a movie or two. And yeah...it's nice to do something that doesn't involve just recycling all those cards that so many people put time and money and efforts into.

oh...and I found it more easier to use some really strong double-sided tape (some industrial stuff that Pete brought home for work, but I'm sure there are commercial options) rather than glue because then you don't have to mess around with clips while they dry
